The weight of what I feel.![]()

And the air shifted![]()
Suddenly softer![]()
Fuller![]()
As if the years apart had conspired![]()
To prepare this moment![]()
To align us once again![]()
Like constellations in a familiar sky.![]()

I want to tell you ![]()
How the sight of you![]()
Even after all this time![]()
Still feels like sunlight![]()
Spilling into my shadowed corners![]()
How your voice![]()
Not just a sound ![]()
But a memory![]()
A melody that carries me![]()
Back to a place ![]()
I thought I had left behind![]()
Lifting my heart to places![]()
I promised myself ![]()
I’d never return to.![]()

About the silence![]()
The charged electric stillness![]()
That lingers between us![]()
Even after yesrs![]()
The minute our eyes met![]()
How it feels like the rhythm ![]()
Of old conversations![]()
Still synchronizing our breaths![]()
Into something sacred![]()
Something we’ve never ![]()
Fully let go of.![]()

I need you to know ![]()
How your touch![]()
Even imagined![]()
Still leaves a mark![]()
Tracing invisible lines ![]()
Across my soul![]()
Lines that tether me![]()
To the us we once were![]()
To a love that defies ![]()
Both reason and time.![]()

I have so much to tell you.![]()
But even now![]()
These words![]()
No matter how carefully chosen![]()
Can only be fragments![]()
Of what I still carry for you.![]()

This vast endless thing![]()
Unspoken yet undeniable![]()
Still whispers your name![]()
With every exhale of my soul.![]()

As I sit here![]()
Looking at you![]()
I say nothing![]()
To the others.![]()

Is too much for words![]()
